About Me
Lance Pendleton began his commercial real estate career in 2007 and joined Mountain West Commercial in 2010. He is deeply committed to elevating the retail experience in Utah by curating dynamic tenant mixes that seamlessly blend local and national brands into lifestyle-focused projects.
Specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, Lance expertly guides developers through every stage of a project—from design and lease-up to successful exit strategies. With over a billion dollars in investment and leasing activity, he has become a trusted advisor in the industry.
Currently, Lance represents prominent properties such as Utah City, Foothill Village, The Gateway, Valley Fair Mall, Highland Mains, and University Crossing. His notable landlord representation includes partnerships with industry leaders such as Asana Partners, The Boyer Group, Vestar, Woodbury Corporation, Midtown National Group, and Price Real Estate.
As a Partner at Mountain West Commercial Real Estate, Lance has played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s platform, including co-founding the Utah County office in 2021. Before transitioning to commercial real estate, he co-founded and managed a successful mortgage wholesale loan company, where his efforts drove regional expansion and operational success. This entrepreneurial background, combined with a sharp understanding of market dynamics, has been instrumental in his achievements in commercial real estate.
Outside of work, Lance enjoys quality time with his wife, son, and two daughters. A former collegiate athlete, he attended Brigham Young University on an athletic scholarship and remains an avid sports enthusiast, never turning down the chance to watch a game.
