Newmark Mountain West Welcomes Brandon Nelson to Join Top-Producing Capital Markets Team

Salt Lake City, UT – Newmark Mountain West, the leading full-service commercial real estate brokerage in the Intermountain Region, is excited to announce the addition of Brandon Nelson to the company. He will join Bryce Blanchard, Vice Chairman of Capital Markets, alongside Steve Walton and Suzanne Bender as a member of the Blanchard Investment Group at Newmark Mountain West.
Brandon joins Newmark Mountain West with an impressive background and experience. Most recently serving as Vice President of Property Management at Newmark’s Salt Lake City office, he led operations throughout Utah, overseeing more than 12.6 million square feet of commercial real estate on behalf of institutional and private ownership groups, gaining broad exposure to asset performance, ownership strategy, and market fundamentals.
The Blanchard Investment Group at Newmark Mountain West has operated as a core team of three for the past decade, now bringing together over 79 years of combined commercial real estate experience. The team has established itself as Utah’s preeminent investment sales team, with steadily increasing transaction volume, as highlighted by Bryce Blanchard being a repeat Newmark Salt Lake City Agent of the Year and Utah CCIM Chapter Investment Sales Agent of the Year.
The decision to grow the team for the first time reflects a deliberate move to continue the group’s long-term vision, built on decades of leadership, performance, and execution in service of an expanding client base.
With more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate, Brandon will transition into brokerage activities with Newmark Mountain West. His background is expected to support the team’s continued growth in transaction volume and client advisory services as the group builds on its long-standing market leadership.
The Blanchard Investment Group at Newmark Mountain West is consistently recognized among the firm’s top-producing national Capital Markets teams, known for its market leadership, disciplined execution, and long-standing client relationships. Specializing in the acquisition and disposition of retail, office, and industrial investment properties across Utah and the broader region, the Blanchard Investment Group has completed $5.1 billion in transaction volume across over 543 transactions, consistently representing some of the most significant and complex investment transactions in the Utah marketplace.
