About Me
Aven Houston was born in New York City and raised in Maryland before relocating to Las Vegas in 2020, driven by a desire for growth, challenge, and long-term professional advancement. Since making Las Vegas home, Aven has established himself as a dedicated commercial real estate professional with a strong foundation in property management and a growing track record in complex lease transactions.
Aven is a licensed real estate broker with several years of hands-on experience across property management, hospitality, and retail operations. His background allows him to approach real estate with a client-focused, operationally informed mindset, balancing strategic insight with practical execution.
He is an active member of NAIOP Southern Nevada and a graduate of the Developing Leaders Institute, Class of 2025, one of the region’s premier leadership and development programs for emerging commercial real estate professionals. Aven is also a member of the Southern Nevada Chapter of CCIM, where he was recognized as the 2025 Chapter Committee Member of the Year and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Marketing & Communications Committee.
Aven attended Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he studied Hospitality Management while working full-time in hospitality, retail, and property management roles. It was through property management that he discovered his passion for real estate and committed to building a long-term career in the industry.
Outside of work, Aven enjoys volunteering, hiking, traveling, cooking, and maintaining a consistent meditation and self-improvement practice. He values continuous learning, community involvement, and intentional personal growth, principles that also guide his professional approach.
