About Me

A relentless pursuit of peak performance defines Jeff Mitchell’s approach to commercial real estate. As Principal Broker of Newmark Mountain West’s Nevada office, Jeff provides clients across the Intermountain West with tailored strategies that maximize value and minimize complexity.

With expertise spanning tenant representation, landlord/developer representation, retail shopping center investments, and land sales, Jeff blends sharp financial acumen, strategic vision, and precise execution. He is known for breaking down complex transactions to ensure clients’ interests are fully protected—whether working with nationally recognized retailers or local operators.

Jeff has represented a wide range of tenants, including 7-Eleven, 7Leaves Café, Beans & Brews, Big Brand Tire, Broken Yolk, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Burlington Stores, Capital One Café, Corner Bakery Café, Crave Cookies, Domino’s, Donut Bar, Firehouse Subs, Fleming’s Restaurant Group, Jack in the Box, Goodyear, Griddlecakes, Lazy Dog Restaurants, Nacho Daddy, Natural Grocers, NORMS Diner, Mars Retail Group, Quick Quack Car Wash, Randy’s Donuts, Skechers, SkinnyFats, Snooze AM Eatery, Veterinary Emergency Group, Verizon, The Vitamin Shoppe, and WinCo Foods.

On the ownership side, Jeff has exclusively represented leading landlords and developers including 3D Investments, Amsource, Bekam Development, CNA Enterprises, Barings, Cornerstone Capital, Vestar, The Eagle Group, Excel Trust (ShopCore), Inland, Oro Capital, Pacific Castle, Prospect Street Capital, PBC USA, Remington Nevada, RPAI, ShopCore, Southern Land Company, and Woodbury Corporation.

Whether closing high-stakes transactions or racing with his championship cycling team, Jeff brings tenacity, creativity, and discipline to every endeavor. He understands that success is both individual and collaborative, and works to elevate his clients, colleagues, and the broader industry through mentorship and leadership.

Jeff is a Certified Retail Real Estate Professional (CRRP), serves as a Director of the CCIM Institute Southern Nevada Chapter, and is an active member of ICSC. Licensed in both Utah and Nevada, he is recognized for his market knowledge, deal-making expertise, and ability to execute with both speed and integrity
