Tom Gongaware is the Head of Software Development for Mountain West Commercial Real Estate. He provides support for Mountain West’s internal commercial real estate application. Tom started his commercial real estate software career at Newmark Salt Lake (NAI Utah at the time) in 2005. In 2007, he received a promotion to the software development manager position. In 2021, Newmark corporate hired Tom as an Engineering Manager. He has worked with agents, agent assistants, staff, and management in driving efficiency through application development. One of his favorite tasks is optimizing queries and load times to make software experiences more pleasant.

Outside of work, Tom spends much time with his family, going to soccer games, practicing taekwondo, or playing games. Tom’s favorite hobby is learning new skills and information.
