About Me
Rodd Jefferies is a commercial real estate advisor with Newmark Mountain West, focusing on retail, office, mixed-use, and land transactions throughout Utah County and Central Utah. With several years of experience in commercial brokerage and a long personal history in real estate investing, Rodd brings a practical, client-focused perspective to each assignment.
Rodd began investing in real estate in 2008, gaining firsthand experience in property ownership, renovation, and long-term asset planning. This background gives him an owner’s mindset and a grounded understanding of how to evaluate opportunities, navigate challenges, and support clients as they move through each step of a transaction.
Alongside his work in real estate, Rodd has served for over a decade as a Spanish medical interpreter—developing strong communication skills, cultural fluency, and the ability to manage high-stakes conversations with clarity and precision. These strengths directly support his work with investors, tenants, and property owners.
Rodd works in partnership with advisor Ben Ellsworth in the firm’s Utah County office, providing responsive service, clear communication, and consistent follow-through for clients across the region.
A Utah County native, Rodd earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish (Magna Cum Laude) and has a deep appreciation for global cultures. He and his wife Ashley have traveled to more than 30 countries and 48 U.S. states. At home, he enjoys maintaining a small homestead with chickens, ducks, and a garden.
Rodd is known for his steady approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to guiding clients through their commercial real estate decisions with confidence.
