Garrett Hansen is a research intern at the Salt Lake City office. He brings prior research experience from Newmark and property management experience from the Utah Non-Profit Housing Corporation, giving him a well-rounded understanding of real estate and market research. He is particularly interested in capital markets and plans to leverage his experience in real estate research to pursue a career in investment banking or asset management.

Currently on a gap year, he is preparing to pursue a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in advanced financial analysis at the University of Utah, with plans to earn his CFA and later a master’s in finance from Penn State.

Outside of work, Garrett is a dedicated lacrosse player and enjoys staying active, whether it’s fishing with friends or going to the gym. He’s also passionate about golf, playing the bass guitar, and keeping up with college sports. He values strong relationships and is always looking for new opportunities to meet new people, learn, and grow both personally and professionally.
