About Me

Rich Lachowsky is Head of Research for Mountain West and provides research support throughout the Intermountain West. After starting his career as a GIS/Graphics Manager with Newmark Salt Lake City, he was promoted to Research Director in 2016 while additionally overseeing the day-to-day operations of the GIS, Marketing and Research departments. In late 2021, Lachowsky was promoted to Director, SLC Research and National Industrial, and supported national industrial research efforts including quarterly market reports and thought leadership pieces. He enjoys connecting with clients, agents and operations and leveraging data to develop forward-looking, thought-provoking content.

In his leisure hours, Rich loves to travel with his wife, Alli, to all locales domestic and international. While not travelling, he likes going to concerts, cultural events and trying new restaurants.
