About Me
James Mack began his career in commercial real estate in New York City in 2005 while pursuing a career in acting and musical theatre. He began by syndicating multifamily deals in Harlem and the Bronx. After receiving a master’s degree at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, James transitioned to underwriting office and industrial deals for owner/operators and private equity funds for a few years before moving to Utah and entering brokerage.
Much of James’ time has been spent in office tenant representation, where he has represented small tech startups to tech unicorns to Fortune 500 companies. James has participated in more than $535 million in transaction volume. James has begun to focus more on investment and owner/user sale assignments as well as some targeted, client specific assignments that span across asset classes and capital markets.
Given his background in underwriting and a global network, James has found unique opportunities to help clients achieve their investment objectives. James has served as a member of the Utah CCIM Board of Directors, the Board of Pioneer High School for the Performing Arts and a committee member of the Mountain West Capital Network.
When James is not at work, he loves spending time with his wife Angela and their four children. He still acts in occasional commercials or movies to keep things interesting, loves to ski, hike, travel, and see Broadway shows.
