Mountain West Commercial Real Estate helps Restaurant Chain Expand
Mountain West Commercial Real Estate helps L.O.V.E. Restaurant Group lock down its third location in Utah. L.O.V.E Restaurant Group owns fast-casual restaurant chain Slim Chickens. Utah is already home to several locations; this newest restaurant will be located at Valley Grove. The site is a 60-acre mixed-use business community located in Pleasant Grove in Utah County. The Valley Grove site will be the seventh Slim Chickens restaurant owned and operated by L.O.V.E. Restaurant Group. In Utah, the other restaurants are in Lehi and Herriman. Mountain West agent Preston Miller helped L.O.V.E secure the site from St. John Properties.
“This location in Pleasant Grove will be very successful, it is close to a heavy office, industrial, and residential areas and estimates it will do $3million in annual sales,” agent Preston Miller said. “I have worked with L.O.V.E Restaurant Group for the past two years, I am passionate about their mission and excited to help them get to 15 stores in Utah”.
Miller says the site is near both Interstate 15 and North County Boulevard and is slated to house more than one million square feet of commercial office space, retail, restaurants, and a full-service hotel. The site is already home to Grove Tower, a six-story building with nearly 190,000 square feet of commercial office space; Valley Grove I, a six-story, 165,000 square foot building; Valley Grove II and Valley Grove III, two five-story buildings comprising 140,000 square feet of space each. There are four buildings adding a combined 100,000 square feet of office space and five buildings with approximately 50,000 square feet of retail space.
Construction is underway on a free-standing building situated at the signalized intersection of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and North County Boulevard. Slim Chickens will employ approximately 80 full and part-time associates and is expected to open this summer. Slim Chickens operates more than 150 locations in 26 states, Slim Chickens has committed to providing a “better chicken” experience that can’t be found anywhere else.
According to an article QSR Magazine, the restaurant focuses on providing only 100% fresh, all-natural chicken tenders that are buttermilk-marinated, hand-breaded, and always cooked fresh-to-order. A choice of 17 house-made sauces adds exceptional flavor and has earned admiration from both guests and critics alike. Slim Chickens also offers fresh sandwiches, wings, salads, wraps and its signature chicken and waffles. To offset the savory side of the menu, they offer rotating seasonal desserts served in souvenir mason jars.
Founded in 1971, St. John Properties is distinguished by its commitment to customer service, achievements in green building, and top-rated workplace culture.
“The St. John Properties Group was very easy to work with” Miller said. “They were responsive and made this process simple and efficient”.
