About Me
After graduating from Southern Methodist University with a BA in English, Charlie Finn moved to Los Angeles, where he built a successful career in television and film that spanned more than two decades. Working within a highly demanding and competitive industry, he formed lasting relationships with network and studio executives and creatives. Among the most meaningful experiences of that career was a 2009 trip to Afghanistan, where he visited troops and helped build morale at forward operating bases.
In 2025, Charlie pivoted into a new career in commercial real estate. Drawing on his talent for building relationships and his existing network, he secured a multi-state tenant representation assignment with EssilorLuxottica, a global optical retailer, through targeted, personal outreach rather than volume cold-calling. He has since grown the partnership into an ongoing, multi-brand mandate spanning nine states. A firm believer in continued growth and education, Charlie is also working toward his CCIM designation to deepen his technical expertise in the industry.
Based in Boise, Charlie is excited to be part of the Newmark Mountain West team as a tenant and landlord representative. As the market continues to grow, he looks forward to bringing new tenants to complement that growth. He also has a passion for design and architecture, which he applies to helping landlords redevelop older centers and add value to their assets through an improved mix of tenants.
In his free time, Charlie enjoys reading history, writing, backpacking, skiing, and spending time with his yellow lab, Annie.
