Urban Hill Opens in Salt Lake’s Post District Development
MWCRE Facilitated Transaction for New Restaurant
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Urban Hill, a division of Park City’s famous Hearth and Hill and Hill’s Kitchen officially opened its doors in Salt Lake City.
The new restaurant is inside the Post District located at 550 South 300 West; Urban Hill is one of the first businesses inside the Post District Development. The Post District is a $144 million residential and commercial project along Interstate 15.
“I think a lot of people are excited about the area between 500 to 600 South,” said David Kirchheimer, co-owner of the group that owns the restaurant. “It’s one of the most driven-by spaces in the state. It’s where everybody goes downtown and where everyone gets back on the highway to go home. So, we’re excited.”
Mountain West Commercial Real Estate (MWCRE) agents Scott Brady, Garrett Blomquist, and Andy Moffitt facilitated the deal. Urban Hill leased just over 6,000 square feet. The dining room and patio will each have the capacity for 90 people and will feature art from Utah artists.
“We are excited that Urban Hill will be the first restaurant inside the Post District, MWCRE agent Garrett Blomquist said. “We are confident and optimistic that this new dining concept will be a great addition to this area of Salt Lake City”.
